Sub Contract: Denmoore Ltd.
Denmoore Ltd were contracted to carry out reinforced concrete wall and floor construction, to a nine floor office block refurbishment in the City of London.
Scope of work
Formation of a lift base within the basement Mega Medusa Casino of the building to form the foundation for the lift shaft walls.
Shutter, Steel Reinforcement, and concrete fill to a bank of four lift shafts to a height of 6 meters.
Metal Pan and conventional Shuttering used to suit existing structure profiles.
Transfer materials and plant via electric hoist and mini crane from 1st floor to basement all controlled and executed by Denmoore Ltd, with appropriately certificated labour.
Waterproofing details, render and screed to walls and base of a newly formed Firemen’s lift sump pump pit.
From roof down to the ground floor a large light well, three riser shafts and the decommissioned lift shafts were infilled with reinforced concrete. The placement of this concrete was by means of several sizes of pump the largest being a thirty meter boom pump to reach the roof level and floors down to level five.
Shuttering and associated timber work carried out to the lift over run roof to form decks and plant plinths and coping details.

Denmoore performed excellently on this contract.
They bought into reprogramming and accelerated working and carried out all tasks in a diligent and professional manner,
The Site Foreman was very experienced, and his work force was clean and conscientious.
The Contracts Director, Mr D Costello, made frequent visits to site to monitor progress and carry out Quality Control exercises to all elements of his works.
Conclusion
The Neilcott Construction Site Management Team found Denmoore Ltd a very good Sub Contractor to work with.
All staff agrees that their services should be used again.
As Section Manager controlling all of ‘Denmoore’ operations I would highly recommend the company to my colleagues and associates.
